Q:How will I update the audio, text and pictures on my Audio Ad Page?
A:
You will be given a password protected location online where you
can update your text and pictures anytime you choose. The audio
update has options: 1: Using the phone number we assign to you,
call and leave your message [Up to a one-minute message] and
within minutes, you new audio message is updated. The method is
more suitable for the non-technical person. 2: You create
your new audio message on your computer and upload it to your
Audio Ad Page. Unfortunately, you can not use both options
together. [Use one or the other.] Option 1 has a monthly
fee of $6.95 per month. Option 2 is free. [Once
you sign up, you will be give more details on how to update your
audio message for either option.]
Q:
If you choose option 1, can I hear my message before I update it on my Audio Ad
Page?
A:Yes, after you call the
assigned phone number, you will be given an
opportunity to listen to your message and re-record it again, if
needed.
Q:How long of a message I can record?
A:Up to one-minute of recording time for your message.
[This applies to both options.]
Q:What if I record more than a one-minute message?
A: For
option 1: The system will not cut you off at one-minute, but your
message will not be updated. If you visit your Audio Ad page and
your message is not heard after a few minutes, you will need to record your
message again and keep it under one-minute. [To ensure you stay
under one-minute, we recommend you
use your watch when recording your message.] [After about 15
minutes from the time you called in and changed your message,
you will have to refresh your Audio Ad page or close it
and enter it again.] This will allow your new audio message to
change on your Audio Ad page. For option 2: you have a 1
Mb size limit of the audio file you can upload. This will
give you about a one-minute message.
Q:What type of audio file I can upload if I choose option 2.
for my Audio Ad Page?
A:The
audio file needs to be in a MP3 format in order to work. We will
also provide you with a program to make a MP3 audio file if you
don't one. Also, the file can not be larger than 1
Mb. If you know how to create a MP3 audio file, you can
choose option 2. for your Audio Ad Page.
Q:With option 1: can I use any phone to record the message on my Audio Ad
Page.
A:Technically yes, however, during registration, we ask
that you provide a phone number that you will update
your Audio Ad Page from. For security reasons, and to prevent
others from updating your Audio Ad Page, the system will look at the
phone number you called from. If you call from any phone that has not been
programmed into the system, it will not take it. These measures
are for your security. [Note: Your phone number will not be
sold,
given away or used for any type of solicitation.]
Q:How many audio buttons I can have on my Audio Ad page?
A:Technically,
there is no limit. However, due to the
unknown of the visitors computer system that will listen to your
Audio Ad, we have a one audio button limit per page.
Q:How often can I change the message on my Audio Ad Page?
A:As often and when ever you like. [For option 1:
your standard phone
rates apply. This is not a toll-free number.]
Q:After I call and leave my audio message, how fast will the
message be update?
A: With
option 1: depending on when the system received
it, this could be 1
minute but no more than 15 minutes. However, we will provide for
you with a webpage to do an immediate update from your
computer. After you call in and leave your audio message, you hit your refresh [reload] button or press your F5 key
which will do the same thing for you. This forces your audio
message to load immediately. We highly recommend this method of
loading your audio message. With option 2:
immediately after you upload the audio file.
Q:Why are their advertisements on my Audio Ad Page?
A:To keep
this service free, it is ad-supported, which means advertisement from companies like Google, eBay, Yahoo and many
others pays for this free service. [Note: No adult-type ads will be featured on your page.]
Q:How do I get people to find my Audio Ad Page?
A:We
will create for you flyers for your customers to pick-up at your
business. These flyers will feature your business along with the
website location for your Audio Ad Page. As we pass out more
flyers, your business information will be on them
also.
